Maglev Magnetic Levitation Kit includes two 4 foot long tracks, a wrap-around model train, a clamp, a magnetic wand, magnets and styrofoam vehicle blanks. It helps to introduce students to an exciting future mode of transportation based on magnetic levitation. It demonstrates the attraction principle of levitation using an elevated track and a wrap-around model train. Enclosed guide ways are added to investigate the repulsive principle of levitation. Set features a clamp to hold the hinged tracks at desired angle and magnetic wand to simulate methods of propulsion. Guide ways are tested with English and Metric scales to facilitate quantitative results.
